Generic MCS & EGSE for smallsats and low-cost operations
C2LOCO is an one-stop solution for a Monitoring & Control System based on EGS-CC for CubeSats and SmallSats, used throughout all phases of Satellite Operations.
End-to-End Concept for Offline Mission Operations
VisionSpace was contracted to research new approaches that defy traditional concepts of satellite mission operations. We not only innovated by introducing the goal oriented mission concept as we developed a proof-of-concept prototype embedding new methods and tools.
Cyber Safety and Security Operational Centre
The Cyber Security Operations Centre (C-SOC) is a pivotal hub where security teams vigilantly monitor, analyze, and respond to cyber threats around the clock to protect an organization’s digital infrastructure.
Security Cyber Centre of Excellence
SCCoE is a multi-platform environment being used by ESA to train and educate people in diverse topics related to cybersecurity. It works in close cooperation with ESA’s C-SOC.
Enabling Continuity: From Design to Operations
The primary objective of this activity was to understand how to best bridge the divide depicted in the previous section, and implement a proof of concept, demonstrating how existing models and MBSE standards and tools can best be tailored and/or extended to generate models for operations.
Intelligent Operations and Preventative Maintenance Assistant
OCAI 2.0 is an assistant articulated with a semantic search engine (google alike) that connects to several artifacts of a given satellite mission (i.e.: Databases, Documents, blob files).
Automatic Speech Recognition for ESOC Voice Loops
OSOAE is an Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) system that can capture, transcribe, and index diverse types of audio communications (ESTRACK voice loops, SPACON voice logs, other).
License Compatibility Framework for IPR Management
ORCUS is a BMP framework that allows users to make compatibility checks of their software licensing, based in a given group of structured parameters.
Rule-based cross-validation of operational data
We have been part of the consortium that developed ARVALIS, a tool for automated rule-based cross-validation of operational data. ARVALIS allows for automated repetition of data validation activities, where cross-validation of data definition can be done against a valid set of mission states and vice-versa. The relevant rules can be generated automatically and augmented by the operators relying on their expertise and knowledge.
EGOS User Desktop Automated Regression Testing
This automated regression tool has been developed aiming at be integrated with the EGOS User Desktop framework used by ESA in most of their software.
Onboard Machine Learning Software as a Service
SaaSyML is a Software as a Service (SaaS) app hosted on the OPS-SAT-1 Satellite Experimental Processing Platform (SEPP) to provide on-board Machine Learning (ML) functionalities.
Penetration Testing and Security Awareness Management in a Box
This was a project aiming at identifying relevant threat scenarios for the mission operations end-to-end ground segment architecture and implementing them in a controlled environment, where they could be used to test operational infrastructure.
Space to Ground Interface Control Document
This project aimed at creating a mission control system deployment model based on a semantic model (or meta-model) which can then be used to create a model editor of the Space to Ground Interface Control Document (S2GICD).
Convergence Towards a Unique Space Mission Simulation Reference Facility
This project facilitated the Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT) activities’ cooperation across facilities. We developed a tool that makes use of space and ground segment digital twins to support model based (AIT).
Environment Configuration Control System
This is the Swiss knife software to make a smooth control of your control system configurations that are used towards multiple scenarios.
OPS-SAT Onboard Autonomy Experiment
This is a solution for satellites in need of goal-oriented timeline-based planners that are capable of automatically produce executable schedules based on user-defined goals.
